Simon Ekpa has made serious allegations regarding assassination attempts against him. He claims that this marks the fifth time someone has tried to take his life as he fights for Biafra’s liberation. The leader of the Biafra Government In-Exile shared these claims in a statement on his official X account on Tuesday.
According to Ekpa, a suicide bomber has been dispatched from Abuja with the intention of reaching Finland. He emphasized that this is not just a random threat but part of a persistent effort to silence him during his ongoing struggle for Biafra’s independence.
Ekpa stated that he is closely monitoring the situation and remains confident that the quest for Biafra’s freedom will prevail against any threats. He remarked, “The deployment of a suicide bomber to Finland to target me is their final resort, and they have just left Abuja airport.”
He continued, “We are keeping a watchful eye on them from the moment they departed, right up to their next stop. We are prepared for the arrival of this bomber at the entry point. Their contacts in Finland are already aware of the danger they are in.”
Ekpa reaffirmed his dedication to Biafra’s independence, stating, “This is your fifth attempt, and now you are resorting to sending terrorists to Europe. If you truly know who I am, you should be on high alert. I will leave it at that for now; the time for action is not yet here.”
